Welcome to the BALANS Brand Ambassador Program. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for participating in the BALANS online brand ambassador and affiliate program.

By applying to or participating in the BALANS Brand Ambassador Program, you agree to comply with the terms below.

1. About the BALANS Brand Ambassador Program

The BALANS Brand Ambassador Program allows approved individuals, creators, publishers, cigar enthusiasts, and other partners to promote BALANS products through unique affiliate links, discount codes, or other approved promotional methods.

BALANS reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any application or account at its sole discretion.

Participation in the program does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship between you and BALANS.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the legal age required in your jurisdiction.

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.

  • Maintain an active and valid affiliate account.

  • Promote BALANS products in a lawful, honest, and professional manner.

  • Comply with all applicable advertising, disclosure, privacy, intellectual property, and consumer protection laws.

BALANS may request additional information to verify your identity, promotional channels, or eligibility.

3. Affiliate Links and Promotional Codes

Approved Brand Ambassadors may receive unique tracking links, referral codes, or other promotional materials provided through the BALANS affiliate program.

You may use these materials only for legitimate promotional purposes.

You may not:

  • Modify BALANS logos, trademarks, product images, or marketing materials without permission.

  • Create websites or social media accounts that could be confused with official BALANS channels.

  • Represent yourself as an employee or official representative of BALANS.

  • Purchase products through your own affiliate link for the purpose of generating commissions.

  • Encourage customers to click affiliate links solely to generate commissions without genuine purchasing intent.

  • Use misleading redirects, cookie stuffing, automated clicks, bots, or other artificial traffic-generation methods.

4. Commission Structure

Brand Ambassadors may earn commissions on qualifying purchases generated through their approved affiliate links or promotional codes.

The applicable commission rate, attribution period, and other program details are determined through the BALANS affiliate program and may be displayed in your affiliate dashboard.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Commissions are calculated based on eligible net sales.

  • Taxes, shipping charges, refunds, cancellations, discounts, chargebacks, and other excluded amounts may not qualify for commissions.

  • Orders that are refunded, canceled, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible may have their commissions reversed.

  • BALANS reserves the right to change commission rates or program terms with reasonable notice.

5. Commission Approval and Payment

Commissions are subject to a validation period to allow BALANS to verify orders and account for cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, and fraudulent transactions.

Approved commissions will be paid according to the payment schedule and payment method available through the affiliate platform.

You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and for any taxes or reporting obligations applicable to your commissions.

BALANS is not responsible for payment delays caused by incorrect payment information or issues with the payment provider.

6. Promotional Content and Brand Standards

BALANS Brand Ambassadors are expected to represent the brand professionally.

Promotional content should be:

  • Accurate and truthful.

  • Based on genuine product experience or clearly identified promotional information.

  • Relevant to the audience.

  • Free from misleading claims.

  • Consistent with BALANS brand standards.

You must not make unsupported claims regarding product performance, health benefits, safety, product guarantees, or other characteristics that have not been approved by BALANS.

BALANS may request the removal or correction of promotional content that violates these standards.

7. Social Media Promotion

Brand Ambassadors may promote BALANS through approved social media platforms, websites, blogs, newsletters, forums, and other legitimate marketing channels.

You must clearly disclose your relationship with BALANS when required by applicable advertising laws or platform rules.

Examples of acceptable disclosures may include:

“This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you make a purchase through my link.”

You must follow the advertising and disclosure requirements applicable to your location and platform.

8. Prohibited Promotional Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Spam or unsolicited bulk messages.

  • Misleading advertising.

  • False product reviews or fabricated testimonials.

  • Fake discounts or misleading pricing claims.

  • Trademark bidding or paid search campaigns using BALANS trademarks without written authorization.

  • Domain names, social accounts, or advertising materials designed to impersonate BALANS.

  • Cookie stuffing or forced affiliate attribution.

  • Automated traffic, bots, click fraud, or other artificial traffic.

  • Promotion through illegal, deceptive, discriminatory, or offensive content.

  • Promotion of BALANS products in ways that violate applicable laws or platform policies.

  • Any activity intended to manipulate affiliate tracking or commission attribution.

BALANS may withhold or reverse commissions associated with prohibited activities.

9. Coupon and Discount Code Policy

If BALANS provides you with a promotional or discount code, you may promote that code only as authorized.

You may not:

  • Publish expired or unauthorized discount codes.

  • Claim that a discount is exclusive when it is not.

  • Create fake urgency around a promotion.

  • Advertise discounts that are not currently offered by BALANS.

  • Distribute codes through unauthorized coupon websites or paid advertising without permission.

10. Content and Intellectual Property

BALANS retains all rights to its trademarks, logos, product photographs, website content, product descriptions, and other intellectual property.

BALANS grants approved Brand Ambassadors a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use approved marketing materials solely for promoting BALANS products through the Brand Ambassador Program.

You may not register or use BALANS trademarks as part of a domain name, social media username, business name, advertising identity, or other branding without written permission.

11. Customer Relationships

Brand Ambassadors do not have authority to:

  • Make commitments on behalf of BALANS.

  • Modify BALANS product prices or policies.

  • Offer warranties or guarantees beyond those officially provided by BALANS.

  • Provide customer service representations on behalf of BALANS.

  • Enter into agreements on behalf of BALANS.

All customer orders are subject to BALANS's applicable sales terms, shipping policies, return policies, and other store policies.

12. Privacy and Customer Information

Brand Ambassadors must respect customer privacy and comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

You may not collect, store, sell, share, or use customer information obtained through the BALANS affiliate program for unauthorized purposes.

You may not attempt to access BALANS customer accounts, order information, payment information, or other confidential data unless expressly authorized.

13. Program Monitoring

BALANS may monitor affiliate traffic, referrals, promotional activities, and transactions to ensure compliance with this agreement.

BALANS may investigate unusual traffic, suspicious transactions, fraudulent activity, or other violations of the program rules.

You agree to reasonably cooperate with any compliance investigation.

14. Suspension or Termination

BALANS may suspend or terminate your Brand Ambassador account if:

  • You violate this agreement.

  • You engage in fraudulent or deceptive activity.

  • You generate invalid or suspicious traffic.

  • You misuse BALANS intellectual property.

  • You engage in unauthorized advertising.

  • You provide inaccurate information.

  • Your promotional activities may damage the BALANS brand or customer experience.

Upon termination, your right to use BALANS promotional materials and affiliate links ends immediately.

Eligible commissions generated before termination may be paid after validation, subject to this agreement and any applicable deductions or reversals.

15. Changes to the Program

BALANS may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Brand Ambassador Program at any time.

Changes may include commission rates, payment terms, promotional requirements, eligibility rules, or other program conditions.

Continued participation in the program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BALANS will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Brand Ambassador Program.

The program is provided subject to availability, and BALANS does not guarantee uninterrupted tracking, website availability, or continuous program operation.

17. Independent Relationship

You participate in the BALANS Brand Ambassador Program as an independent partner.

Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or other legal relationship between you and BALANS.

You are responsible for your own business activities, expenses, taxes, licenses, and legal obligations.

18. Acceptance of These Terms

By joining or continuing to participate in the BALANS Brand Ambassador Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Brand Ambassador Agreement.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not participate in the program.
